The CIFAD was created as an organization to disseminate and exchange information, as a link to other agencies, and to provide services to other development organizations (NGOs, cooperatives, small project groups…).
Development organizations which have branched out and grown do not have the same access to minimal services to carry out development work, (internet, proofreading, photocopy services, etc…). They try to offer these at reasonable costs and in a participatory environment to organizations who need these services in the framework of their projects in the fight against poverty.
